LMC7211BIM5/HFLF - Meaning of Suffix and if any parametric differences

Good day,

Can you give me an insight in to what the /HFLF suffix pertains to? We have a customer looking for LMC7211BIM5X and we would like to offer LMC7211BIM5/HFLF as an alternative and will need to understand the meaning behind this suffix and if it affects fit, form or functionality different to the standard.

Thank you

    Thanks for your post.

I ran a material content search and the difference is in the lead frame plating.  HFLF stands for halogen free and lead free by the way.  And as I result, I found that the lead frame platting for the HFLF version is tin only while the other has tin and lead.  Other than that, electrically the same.

Just in case you ever need to do this in the future, here is the link to the material content search page.
