THS4222: PowerPad connection when Dual Supply is used

Part Number: THS4222

Good morning,

in some of my circuits I've aready used your High Speed Dual OpAmp THS4222 in 8VSSOP package (THS4222DGK, Without PowerPad) and I'm very interested in continuing to use it.

I need now to switch, for power dissipation reasons, to 8HVSSOP package with PowerPad (THS4222DGN); in most of ExposedPad OpAmp Packages the ExposedPad usually results to be Electrically Connected to Negative Rail (-Vs), however according to THS4222 Datasheet it seems that in this case the PowerPad IS NOT Connected to Negative Rail (Page 21 shows that also for Dual Supply the PowerPad is connected to GND Plane, and not to -Vs).

I just would like to have confirmation that for THS4222 the PowerPad IS NOT Connected to Negative Rail, and that I can safely connect it to Ground Plane while connecting -Vs to a Lower Potential respect to GND.

Many thanks, regards,

Andrea Ieri
