OPA991-Q1: If TI execute EMC evaluation on OPA171-Q1 or OPA991-Q1?

Hi Team, 

My customer is considering shift OPA171-Q1 to OPA991-Q1.

However, to accelerate the replacement, customer and end OEM requested if TI can offer a EMC verification file on both OPA171-Q1 and OPA991-Q1.

Relevant Japan EMC verification standard is JEITA ED-5008 and JASO D019.

Pls answer us below questions:

1. Do we execute any EMC evaluation on OPA171-Q1 or OPA991-Q1?

2. if not, If TI can add the EMC evaluation for this two device?

    Hey Li,

    We do evaluate EMIRR on the OPA991-Q1, and you may see that in the graph below. I am also inquiring internally to see if there are EMI filters on the OPA171-Q1

    Could you explain why the customer is requiring EMC evaluation for the devices? They have been designed in to many applications without issue.

    For example: Is there a customer device that is passing a test that our device is not? If so could you share the information on the use case and a side by side of the behaviors observed.
