OPA2277: IB and IOS Maximum value

Part Number: OPA2277
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA4277, OPA277

Hi team,

One of our customers needs to know the maximum values for the OPA2277U's Input Bias Current IB and Input Offset Current IOS. What is it at 25°C? What is it at –40°C to 85°C?  The test conditions are not clearly marked in the datasheet.

Best Regards.

Amy Luo

  • Hi Amy,

according to figures 11, 13 and 14 of datasheet I would say the first line refers to 25°C and the second line to -40°C to +85°C.

    Also see section 7.3.4.

  • Hi Amy,

The Test Condition box showing TA = –40°C to 85°C should have been aligned with just the lower rows of IB - Input Bias Current and IOS - Input Offset Current parameters in the Electrical Characteristics tables. The upper rows are for TA = 25°C. Thus, the ±2.8 nA maximum is for TA = 25°C, and ±4 nA is for TA = –40°C to 85°C.

This can be entered into the queue and corrected on the next datasheet revision cycle of the OPA277/OPA2277/OPA4277.
