My customer is asking for INA231 on Intel Apollo-Lake platform use INA231A or INA231B.

Do you know the information?

The difference between A and B is the default mode at power up (see section 8.6.1.4 of the datasheet). Only the customer can decide which is appropriate for this application.

Clemens is correct here. The default power modes for this device are:

INA231A: active conversion

INA231B: low-current power down

The customer will need to decide on which to implement in their system.
