My customer is looking for the dimension of the highlighted portion (red) of VSSOP package below:

    Hi Renan,

    many manufacturers do not specify this dimension of their VSSOP package. Probably it can vary from chip to chip so much that a specification makes no sense because of too big tolerance.

    I would take the specification of "maximum heigth of package over the seating plane" which is 1.1mm.

    Renan,

    Here's what I've found.

    Standoff (0.1 mm nominal) + bottom cavity (0.435 mm nominal) + LF thickness (0.15 mm nominal) = 0.685 mm nominal

    Please note these are nominal values and we don't have tolerances for the individual components.
