OPA396: An error in the datasheet.(+other additional inquiries)

Hello?

I looking for the op-amp using noninverting amplifier and voltage follower.

I saw OPA396, a new product with a precision chip, and the datasheet(JULY 2021) seems strange.

In 'Figure 5-1. DCK Package, 5-Pin SC70', noninverting input is No.1, inverting input is No.3.

But In 'Figure 10-1. OPA396 Layout Example', noninverting input is No.3, inverting input is No.1.

Please check the difference. It's very confusing.

Separately from this, are there any 'Voltage follower' array(x2 or x4) products among the products?

(like noninverting-buffer array or line driver in digital.)

Yes, the SC70 package drawing is correct, but the layout example is incorrect, where -IN and +IN is swapped.

Thanks pointing out the typos! I will ask the system engineer to proceed with the correction.

If it not clear what BW, Vos and other requirements you will need for the buffer application. Below is a list of dual and quad op amps for low voltage application.

OPS396 and OPA391 are single op amp in SC-70 package. We have other dual and quad low BW precision op amps as shown in the list below.

It is possible to manufacture it with an Opamp, but this is a question about whether there is an analog voltage follower product separately.
As the number of Opamps increases, the number of unnecessary pins(OUT=IN-) increases and occupies a large area. And when multiple channels are applied the wiring direction is very unreasonable.
In the case of digital buffers, I think it is advantageous to organize the wiring as multiple channels are well wired from the left input to the right output.
For reference, in the case of the AD8244 (Precision Quad Buffer), the number of pins was greatly reduced, but the wiring direction was not good.
