INA231: Alert function

Hi Team,

May I consult if the Alert function could be asserted or deasserted by controlling INA231 register via I2C? Our client want to test the alter function and they want to assert it directly.

    Hello Jaden,

    The easiest way to force the ALERT pin to trigger manually is to set an alert threshold that you know will be triggered. For example, you can set the alert mode to Bus Voltage Overvoltage, and set the alert limit register very low. This way, if there is any voltage on the bus then it will trip the alert.
