Hi,

I am looking for the OPAx171 for simulation in either LTSpice or TINA Spice. But so far I have not found any of the models to simulate.
Can you please let me know where I can find those models or if there is a similar model in TINA or LTSpice i can use ?

Hi Kai,

I downloaded the file but I can't open it on TINA spice.
How did you open it on TINA ?

Hi Kalana,

After downloading the files, make sure you extract it out of the zip and place it in a location on your computer where you can access it easily. Open TINA-TI and go to Insert. Under Insert go to Macro... as shown below:

Click on Macro and go to where you put the OPA4171.TSM file, in this case it's labelled as OPA171.TSM. Click on it and then press open as shown below:

After that you should be able to place your file in your schematic!

Hi Kalana,

double clicking the TSC-file with the left mouse button opens it directly in TINA-TI for me.

Of course, you must have TINA-TI already installed.

Hi Kai,

That's a good point! My instructions are helpful for trying to insert a model into an existing project. Either way both methods should work as long as TINA-TI is installed.
