Gain Margin

Hi,

 How to find the gain margin of the attached circuit. I am not able to find out the point where the phase of Aol β reaches 180deg .

    Hello Shibab,

    Timothy Green, while Linear Products Application Manager at TI, created an indepth article series about operational-amplifier stability analysis. The series covers everything that you need to determine the gain margin, but likely more important the phase margin of your circuit. The series is readily available through the on-line resource En-genius. You may access the series here:

    There is an option for selecting the entire series. I would select that one. Also, don't let the fact that the article part numbering doesn't follow simple counting; all of the completed sections are in that file.
