OPA547: About E/S pin and current limit function

My customer has the questions as follow:

1. E/S pin output can monitor thermal shutdown. can E/S pin also monitor current limit？

2. Can current limit function monitor either sink or source?

    Hello Yuki,

    1. E/S pin output can monitor thermal shutdown. can E/S pin also monitor current limit？- The E/S pin can only be used to monitor the OPA547 thermal shutdown. See the ENABLE/STATUS (E/S) PIN section on Pg. 10 of the OPA547 datasheet.

    2. Can current limit function monitor either sink or source? - The current limit function is active for both sinking and sourcing output current. There can be a small difference in the actual +ILIM and -ILIM values obtained for a set RCL resistor value as seen in the CURRENT LIMIT vs SUPPLY VOLTAGE graph on Pg. 4 of the OPA547 datasheet. This is normal for the OPA547.
