Hi,
Good Day.
I would like to know about the input-output transfer function relationship of LMH5485. How is the transfer function calculated if my PN inputs Rg are not equal?
Please advise. Thank you very much.
Best Regards,
Ray Vincent

Hi Ray,
When the gain is different between the two feedback paths of a fully differential amplifier, the output will not be centered around the Vocm setting, since the differential amplifier is much stronger than the Vocm amplifier. The non-centered, differential output gain will be the average of the two feedback gains. This is not really the same as a different transfer function, as it might not be a valid condition for a fully differential ADC receiver, unless the difference is small.
What is the reason that you want to use different Rg values? Is there a way to avoid this by compensating the other input pin?
Best regards,
Sean
