OPA210: Product recomendation

Hi Team,

A customer is looking for a replacement for OPA210 which allows dual voltage supply of +-3.3V, has a low noise (<µV) especially in the low frequency ranges, and a high input impedance similar to the OPA297 and 292. The application is for EEG devices. The OPA210 does not match the input impedance that they require.

Hi Marvin,

A JFET device such as OPA140 (lower noise) or OPA145 (lower power) are commonly selected for EEG applications. We also have discrete JFETs called JFE150 (single) and JFE2140 (dual) that can be configured with an additional amplifier to provide ultra-low noise, please see the EVMs that correspond to each device for an example of this.
