LMC6482: Is this LMC6482AIMX/NOPB the same as LMC6482AIMX/NAK2?

Part Number: LMC6482

What does the /NAK2 suffix mean? It's no where to be found in the datasheet.

  • Hi Emily,

The LMC6482AIMX are packaged with the same Die design.  /NOPB suffice means No Pb finish in the lead frame. The lead frame with suffice of /NAK1 and /NAK2 contain some percentage of Lead (Pb) in the lead frame (so /NAK2 is not Pb free).

In TI e-store, Pb-free lead frame parts parts are manufactured  these days, and the lead frame materials are substituted with NiPdAu or NiPdAuAg coating stacks (Sn lead frame finish is only manufactured in few existing products and the Sn finish is being phased out over time.).
