OPA454: High voltage OP with lower current consumption

Dear ,

The customer currently solution is ADA4700, and RD also test TI OPA454. The thermal is higher than ADI

Iq ADA4700 ( TYP): 1.7mA, Iq OPA454 (TYP): 3.2mA

Do we have any solution to replace ADI ADA4700?

Hi David,

TI does not offer a HV op amp having a typical operating current comparable to the ADA4700. All of our HV op amps operated with a current in the 3 to 4 mA range.

Hi David,

the increased supply current should not matter very much when using the PowerPad: 3.2mA x 100V x 40.6K/W = 13K die to ambient temperature rise.
