The analog community has lost two of its outstanding engineers. Last week, Jim Williams of Linear Technology died of a stroke and yesterday Bob Pease, a long time fixture at National Semiconductor, was killed in an automobile accident. We will miss these two bright, creative minds but fortunately their publications will still live on and be helpful to others.
