INA231EVM: GUI Installation

Hi,

Good Day.

The customer had a problem with the INA231EVM software, he downloaded it from here https://www.ti.com/tool/INA231EVM and installed it on his windows 10 machine.

However, the program does not open. It appears running in the task manager, but it does not open any window at all.

Do you know what could cause this? or how to fix it?

Ok, he reinstalled but it still fails. It shows in the task manager, but no windows are open at all.

It also takes up a ton of RAM.

    Hello Ray,

    That is very odd... I just tried it myself on windows 10 and got this:

    I unzipped the main "sboc434" folder, then unzipped the "INA231-Software-A" folder, then ran "setup.exe".  I didn't even restart my computer like it asked, and still was able to launch it.....  

    Have you tired installing it with administrator privilege's? Sometimes that can help.....  or maybe try in on a different computer if available?
