Hi Team,

A customer is asking about how to interface a Raspberry Pi to INA229 and TMP to analyse the incoming data from these sensors and make decisions (like switching action using a solid state relay) which will be programmed with python (using python extensions like ctype or cython).

Also, what can you recommend as a TI equivalent for raspberry pi 4?

I am hoping you can help. Let me know if you need more information.

Hello Marvin,

Since the INA229 has a digital output, it can be used with MCU systems, such as the raspberry pi over SPI. We have a program called SysConfig, which can help you generate code based on your desired configuration settings. As for alternate controllers, you could look into the LaunchPad series. If you are having a hard time picking which LaunchPad you want to use, then just submit another E2E question with a similar LaunchPad as the device and the MCU team will be able to help.
