INA237: Questions of INA237

Part Number: INA237

Dear Team,

There is a gap between the read wattage and the actual meter
ina237 <-> POEsmart <-> mfi
13.566 <-> 14.57 <-> 15.9
21.635 <-> 23.32 <-> 24.65
27.787 <-> 30.41 <-> 32.13
36.652 <-> 39.92 <-> 42.12
42.898 <-> 46.9 <-> 49.

1. Do R3715 and R3727 need to be changed to 100ohm?
2. Will R6832 R6845 affect the accuracy of the wattage?

Many Thanks,

Jimmy

  • Hi Jimmy,

    The last two readings are quite far apart as well. Can you elaborate what these two reading are and why they don’t agree? Can you inspect current and bus voltage as well?

    Specifically to answer the two questions you have:

    1. No need to change to 100ohm
    2. These resistors shouldn’t affect the matching of readings, but it would be good to look at current, voltage in addition to power.

  • Hi Jimmy,

    I haven’t heard further update on this issue in a while. I’ll close the thread for now, please post back if you need assistance in the future.
