acetone is no alcohol. Please keep in mind that acetone is very agressive solvent. Chips and other components should not come in contact with acetone.

Hi. It's a test we do to check for blocktopping. First time to encounter this discoloration on top marking font.
Can you help advise on my inquiry?  Are the device Okay given these findings?

Using the lot code and top markings on the INA226 it is evident this is a legitimate part. As far as the other problems go I am in contact with the quality team.

And also, we compared this new part from the same device of different lot and saw the following differences. The ones in red box are the new ones in question.

I pinged the team and asked about the metal on the pins and the top marking discoloration but nothing has come of it. I will ping them again with the new information and push for an answer. Sorry for the long delay.

I will also look into these new top markings do you have a lot code?

The packaging team has not said anything specific except has asked for failure rate. So I do not think there is any concern regarding the rough finish on the pins or the discoloration on the package writing.

I have sent the x-ray image to the packaging team for an explanation.
