Dear Technical Support Team,
What's the difference between INA131AP-1 and INA131AP?
It seems same spec on datasheet.
Best Regards,

Hi Yohei-san,
What's the difference between INA131AP-1 and INA131AP?
Both parts come from the same Si-die design; and my guess is that part numbers are grade differently. Also, INA131BP is higher grade than INA131AP part. These are legacy ICs. I have to dig in further, if you want to know the differences.
INA131AP-1 is obsolete, and INA131AP is available in TI E-store. The image below is the current inventory status.

Hi Ryamond-san,
Thank you for your reply.
My customer is probably using INA131AP-1 from the Barbraun era, so they asked what is the difference between INA131AP and now INA131AP. maybe INA131AP => TI, INA131AP-1 => Barbraun.
I think red is INA131AP-1 and green is INA131AP specs comparison, and INA131AP has smaller offset voltage.
I wonder if the INA131AP has slightly better specs?
Best Regards,
ttd
There also existed an INA131AP-1G4, which looks like a TI name. So this is probably not from the Burr-Brown era.
The -1 suffix might indicate a change in the packaging, or in the electrical characteristics. In any case, the datasheet should mention it somewhere. Do you have the complete datasheet that contains this table?
Hi Yohei-san,
Sorry, I am unable to find INA131AP-1's datasheet or information in our database.
The image below is captured from digikey.com

Here is the information found in Rochester Electronics.

Hi Raymond-san,
Thanks for the Rochester data sheet. In the datasheet, there is no description for specification between AP and AP-1, I believe the specs were the same.
I couldn't see any clear difference between the two, but I think it would be a no problem to change from AP-1 to AP.
Best Regards,
ttd
Hi Yohei-san,
Yes, INA131AP-1 specification is appointing to the current INA131's datasheet (INA131BP and INA131AP).

I am going to close this inquiry. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
