AMC1311-Q1: AMC1311BQDWVRQ1

Part Number: AMC1311-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV316-Q1

I wanted to understand something for AMC1311BQDWVRQ1 & TLV316QDBVRQ1 spice models.

For AMC1311BQDWVRQ1, does the spice model contain all the variations according to min & max values as mentioned in the datasheet (snip attached below) ?

Similar query for TLV316-Q1 model as well. Kindly let me know at your earliest.

  • Hi Jagruti,

Spice models usually contain only the typical datasheet specifications. Sometimes a parameter can be slightly higher or lower than the typical value. Also keep in mind that not all parameters may be simulated. Sometzimes the Spice model itself contains information in the header lines about what parameter is simulated and what is not.

When you want to simulate the behaviour at min and max specs of offset voltage, for instance, you can add an external offset voltage source in series to one input. And when you want to simulate the input bias currents, you can add small current sources connected from signal ground to the input pins.
