LMP7704-SP: Single Effects Test Report

Part Number: LMP7704-SP

I see that the SEE report has been posted. After a quick read I saw a few minor typos. It looked like only two SEL runs were performed and it wasn't clear if they were on two separate samples of the part. Isn't it more typical to require a minimum of three samples to pass at a particular bias/LET to declare the part SEL immune?

  • Hi George,

The actual sample size for SEL was greater than 2. Only two units had data recorded for use in the report but we also tested multiple other units during the sessions. Split supplies were used (+/-6V). The final device count was at least n=4, including one unit that was tested at 85MeV / 12V in at least 12 runs as part of an IRAD effort. SEL was not observed at 85Mev with +/-1.35V supplies during the SET testing (n=2).

I saw your feedback on the other issues including the figure labels. I'm in the process of getting those changes made to improve the report clarity.

    Regards,

    Jon
