Hi TI team,

Could you please clarify the below points,

1. share partial discharge test details, test standards, and test procedures.

2. shall we use AMC1400-Q1 for voltage measurement application, the divider network details as mentioned below?

a) that is 7nos resister will be in series, Ra, Rb, Rc, Rd, Re, Rf, Rg,Rh.

b) In that Ra=Rb=Rc=Re=Rf=Rg=Rh=470K, Re=Shunt resister.

3. MTBF, MTTR data

4. Is this replacement for ACNT-H79A series,? If yes, please send the comparable data and application notes.

Hi Logesh,

Details of PD testing can be found in the AMC1400-Q1 datasheet in the Apparent charge entry on page 6. Additional details on test methods can be found in this Application Note. Your resistive string is a pretty typical way that people use the AMC1400, we have another application note using a split resistor approach for voltage sensing that you might find interesting. MTBF detail can be found on this page: MTBF/FIT estimator Enter AMC1400 in the part number window and then choose the -Q1 version from the search results.

Hi Mr.Tom Hendrick,

Thanks for your response. I will look into your data, If i want to use AMC1400 please let me any additional circuits to be implemented. Also could you please suggest some more solutions to measure voltage with 18kV isolation and equivalent for AD629 And OP27G.

Take a look at the AMC1411, which has a 0-2V input range. You might find the INA149 and OPA210 suitable for your application as well.

I have tested AMC1411 device, linearity is not good when increasing beyond 0.82mVrms.

Please help me to revolve, my input signal will be from 0 to 1.25Vrms.

Can you provide a schematic or plots of what you see? The AMC1411 is a unipolar input device, are you applying an AC signal with some offset?

OK, AMC1400-Q1 Is it a replacement for the ACNT series? Also in my last query, you suggested OP210 as an alternate for OP27G, unfortunately, the swing voltage is +/-0.6V, so we need +/-10 to +/-11V. Please suggest any other Precision, Low-Power, OP AMP, single channel with SOIC package.

As explained 4 days ago we are applying 2000VAC/200VDC across +HV & -HV and measuring signal across Rd & Rd'. Please let us know if any design constraints. Also, we need 8.2 times gain.

The OPA210 's output can swing to within +/-0.6V of the power rails. Assuming you are powered from +/-15V, it can easily swing +/-10 to +/-11V.
