THS4541-Q1: Difference between RGT0016A & RGT0016H package outlines

Hello experts,

In the datasheet of the THS4541-Q1 device there are two options of the PACKAGE OUTLINE - RGT0016A & RGT0016H.
It seems that the RGT0016H is les relevant for the THS4541QRGTRQ1 & THS4541QWRGTRQ1.

Could you pls advise why the RGT0016H is in datasheet? And also what is the difference between the two package outlines?

Hello Vlad,

That's correct; there is only a slight difference. Package outline RGT0016A is for THS4541-Q1 device, while package outline RGT0016H Is for THS4541W-Q1. The difference is the THS4541W-Q1 provides the wettable flank option for the device. This option allows you to visually inspect the connection to the pad which eases post-assembly inspection.
