Hi TI Team,
Thank you for your support.
I have a question for TLV1821DBVR parts marking.
Datasheet and parts marking look up stated 2XLT.
But what actually we got is P821.
I believe those are still correct parts. Cause sometimes database is not updated yet.
Could you confirm right marking for this?
Kind regards,
Takashi

Hello Takashi,
Thank you for reaching out. I have just confirmed that the top marking P821 is a pre-production part of the TLV1821DBVR. This part marking means that the sample was made available when TLV1821 was sampling and still in development and had not been released to market yet.
Hi Chi-san,
In this case, why those items are in our stock? (I shouldn't write what company I belong too But...)
Kind Regards,
Takashi
Hello Takashi-san,
It may be that you ordered samples last year to test the chip before it was released. However, TLV1821 has officially released to market so you can order production type on our website.
Hi Chi-san,
Thank you for your information.
I will check back at our Product manager.
I hope the customer won't try to send the parts back, though.lol
Thank you so much.
Kind Regards,
Takashi
Hi Chi-san,
Thank you for the information.
I couldn't get the answer from our Product manager.
But we are selling them. So, Do you think those are no problem for us to selling them?

I don't think our product manager ordered sample items though...

Hello Takashi-san,
Thanks for the update. No worries, I see no problems with continuing to sell these parts. They are still production qualified and should operate correctly within datasheet specs.
