TRF37C75: Power down control dynamic

Part Number: TRF37C75

Hello,

i did not find in the datasheet any information about the powerdown pin control dynamics, that is, the gain variation in dB between the device enabled and the device disabled through powerdown pin.  So i'm asking if this measurement has ever been performed; i need it for setup of a PWM in a microwave power amplifier.

in the datasheet is reported that the powerdown logic levels are TTL but the minimum high input level is reported as 2V, which is compatible with 3.3 Volt logic. Traditionally the definition of TTL logic refers to 0-5V logic, so i'm asking confirmation that i can drive the powerdown pin with 0-3.3 V logic levels.

Best regards

Vasco

  • Hi Vasco,
When the power down pin is pulled high/ disabled Pout is expected to be zero but, we do not have measurement data, and of course, when the device is enabled Gain = 18dB.
Output switches when the PD pin is between 0.8V and 2V so you can drive the power-down pin with 3.3V logic.

    Best Regards,
    Hruday
