Hi TI,
What termination should be made for the unused pin of this current sense amplifier?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Fariz

Hey Fariz,
I am looking this over and will respond shortly.
Best,
Peter
Hello Fariz,
So you could simply short the input pins and float them, but their Vcm will drift and this could create some offset error in the channel you are using via the device’s 140 dB typical channel-to-channel ratio. This offset error is small, even with the maximum 120V difference between the two channels, this only results in +/-12uV = 120*10^(-140/20) of input offset error.
You can negate this error by shorting the unused input pin to the same bus voltage output f the other channels.
Sincerely,
Peter
