My customer is using our OPA836 & OPA838 now.

And they wonder if we have a newer device to recommend.

Requirements:

BW: >200MHz

slew rate:>200V/us

Iq:<1mA

Hi Brian,

The OPA838 is still the best device to consider for this requirement. The OPA838 being a decompensated amplifier gives an excellent figure of merit with its very high 300 MHz GBW, 350V/us slew rate while consuming only 0.95 mA quiescent current.

but for the OPA836, you might look at the OPA837 which was the unity gain stable version of the OPA838
