LMV393: OVP/ UVP detect function

Hi Sir,

can customize the judgment potential solution conditions of OVP and UVP as follows:

1. When IN_A (OCP_H) voltage≧H_S, OUT_A is H, when IN_A voltage<H_S, OUT_A is L

2.When IN_B(OCP_L) voltage≦L_S, OUT_B is H, when IN_B voltage>L_S, OUT_B is L

3. Points 2 and 3 ic can be discrete or combo.

4. The currently evaluated ICs include Reset IC, analog switch IC, and comparator. Please kindly help evaluate the differences in this application.

maybe LMV393 can do it, right?

    not sure whether I understand you correctly, but the LMV393 may not be a good choice for the design of a RESET chip. The TL77XX or TLC77XX seem to be a better choice?

    What you are describing is a basic "Window Comparator". Please see the following appnote for the basic idea:

    Window comparator circuit(Rev. A)

    The two outputs can be tied together to make one power good signal, or keep the outputs separate to get separate upper and lower signals.

    There are many ways to do this...and many different devices that could be used.

    What are the main care-abouts? Saving supply current? Fast response? Small size? What are the voltages involved?
