LF353-N: what is the recommended Vcc range?

Part Number: LF353-N
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LF353

hi,

what is the recommended operation Vcc range? From Figure.5 in datasheet, does it mean that the VCC range  +-5Vmin----+-18Vmax?

  • Hi Ken,

this figure only shows the tyical performance of LF353. This figure does not guarantee that the OPAmp works down to +/-5V and below.

On page 11 the datasheet says:

"Each amplifier is individually biased by a zener reference which allows normal circuit operation on ±6V power supplies. Supply voltages less than these may result in lower gain bandwidth and slew rate."

And footnote (3) on page 4 says:

"Supply voltage rejection ratio is measured for both supply magnitudes increasing or decreasing simultaneously in accordance with
    common practice. VS = ±6V to ±15V."

So, I would say the recommended supply voltage range is +/-6V to +/-15V.
