INA290: not sensing current from PL601-PAIM-TTI

Part Number: INA290

I noticed that the INA290A5 amplifier does not have an output when there is current flowing through my linear power supply PL601-PAIM-TTI, it is connected to a 1mΩ current sensing resistor and a load. The output of the amplifier remains at 4mV regardless of the current flowing through the circuit.

  • Hello Curtis,

Is this a larger signal?  Does the signal have a PWM associated with it?  The reason I ask is the INA290 could take some time to recover from saturating low.  Otherwise I do not see an issue with your schematic, except to verify there is no load on AIN12 and AINA13 in your schematic.  Also make sure capacitance at output does not go above 500pF if so please increaser the isolation resistor (R7).
