190S06 TI DIP8 IC from an A9P Mustang

Good morning,

Could you help me find a replacement part for a legacy 190S06 DIP8 Integrated Circuit from Texas Instruments?

I haven't been able to find the datasheet for it nor a list of equivalent ICs.

Even though my IC is all black, as seen in the attached picture 1, I managed to recover the part number from the burnt coating. Later I found a picture of a working IC in a similar Mustang computer as seen in picture 2. I'm giving you these pictures to help assure that the 190S06 really is a Texas Instruments part number, but for some reason it does not appear in ti.com sites.

Hello Jose, welcome to the forums.

It appears that this is custom part number; I didn't find it in a normal search. So it is supposed to be unknown.

My CSC case is still open, Hopefully TI will find the datasheet and decide to share it.

The PCB, where the chip is on, was made in 1987. Maybe the commercial agreements are due and the industrial secrets are no more.

Hey Jose,

Do you have any system information? By this I mean, do you know the power supply voltages, the voltage range and frequency range of the input and the expected output of the circuit? Even if we cannot find which part this is, which seems likely, we can help you in finding a replacement for the system in this package that is pin to pin.

Thanks for your response and willing to help Caro,

I'll try to get the complete PCB schematic from the manufacturer before attempting to get a working system to measure its parameters.

As of now, I'm still waiting for CSC to ask TI to disclose the datasheet if possible.
