TL074M: TL074MJ

Part Number: TL074M

Dears,

I wants to buy TL074MJ but it seems not available on the product page, so I have asked a question about the difference between TL074MJ and TL074MJB and got replied.

However, I wonder if the reason that TL074MJ is currently unavailable is EOL? or if it can be purchased if an order  is placed? 

The part number TL074MJ indicated as 'Active' on the product page as below.

Again, please check if TL074MJ is available for puchase now or not.

    Hey Danny, 

    Thanks for posting on e2e :) 

    Looking at the ti.com inventory and the current supply-constraint situation, I imagine that there has been a priority call on which variants of the device to build/test(and therefore stock). 
    Since the device is active, it is not EOLed, I simply think it does not have inventory. 

    This is just an opinion from looking at the ti.com product page, the ti.com inventory and the price differences between the military specified part "B" and the non-B variant. 

    I am going to inquire internally to double check that the TL074MJ is not end-of-life, I expect an answer within a week.

    Thank you for your response. As you mentioned, please check internally that TL074MJ is end-of-life or not. If is not, can you introduce the authorized designated distributor who could provide it? Thanks in advance.

    Hey Danny, 

    I want to thank you for bringing this issue forward to us. 

    After I inquired internally, it resulted in finding out that the part was actually not setup on ti.com store correctly. 
    The team has taken steps to remedy this, notice how now it appears as "Out of stock" instead of "Not available." 

    As I noted before, this is supply-constraint device but we have moved 200 units that should show up on the store in the next couple of days :) 

    Thank you again for bringing this up and allowing us the opportunity to fix this.

    Thank you for your quick response. Let me clarify to your answer.

    So TL074MJ is not "end-of-life", but it is out of stock and it is not going to produce anymore because this is supply-constraint device. And TI found 200 pcs for stock somewhere and will revise the active quantity that can be purchased on the product page? But the thing is we need to purchase more than 200pcs, and in this case we only have to find the rest  of quantites from the othder distributor? Please check if I understand correctly.

    This is not true.
    There will be more production, "supply-constraint" means that the demand is currently more than what we can supply. 

    I recommend dual sourcing with the B version, if this is not possible, I recommend reaching out to your local TI representative that can help advocate for you.
