TAS5431Q1EVM: Some questions about the socket

Part Number: TAS5431Q1EVM

Hi Team,

This is my first time using the socket. I have some questions below.

1. What kind of waveform should we input into IN_P and IN_N? I see the application note "SLOA119B".

I'm not sure the relationship between below figure and IN_P and IN_N.

2. In the datasheet, may you let me know why we show the IN_P and IN_N waveform in the chart? Or we don't need to care about it?

Regards,

Roy

  • Hi Roy,

    1. We only need the differential signal between IN_P and IN_N to be the desired audio analog signal.

    2. IN_P and IN_N are not shown on this chart. We don't need to care about them on this chart.

    Best regards,

    Donny

  • Hi Donny,

    Thank you.

    1. May you let me know what kind of part will produce the audio analog signal?

    2. Why we don't need to care about IN_P/IN_N? I consider that OUTP and OUTN result is based on IN_P and IN_N.

    Regards,

    Roy

  • Hi Roy,

For example, if you want to play music through computer and TAS5431Q1EVM, you can insert the 3.5 mm headphone jack into jack, then connect the Left/Right and GND on the other end to TAS5431Q1EVM.And when you play music on your computer, the correct audio signals will be added to IN_P/IN_N. The audio signals corresponding to different sounds are different, so we don't need to care about IN_P/IN_N.

    Best regards,

    Donny
