Measuring input and output current of buck converter with INA213?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA213

I am working on small MCU controlled 250kHz step down converter that is part of solar MPP controller. I need to measure output current of solar cells in order to actively track MPP, and output current of the step down converter, before and after battery so I could log power related data. According to datasheet, using the 500mW 50mohm shunt resistor with 8bit ADC and 2.56V ADC reference voltage will yield 1mA per bit, which is quite satisfactory. For measuring solar cell output current INA213 woukd suffice, but my main concern is how will it perform at the output of the stepdown converter, considering its bandwidth of 14kHz, (output current will be measured after converter's large outpur capacitor)?
