LMC6001: LMC6001 Input Capacitance

Part Number: LMC6001
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA928

Piggybacking off this question asked and already answered, if the typical input capacitance of the LMC6001 is 2.5pf-3pf (depending on DIP or SO), what is the differential and common mode input capacitances?

Any help is apricated and sorry if this is a dumb question. This is my first post and my first time designing a amplifier circuit.

Thanks - Jacob

  • HI Jacob,

The LM6001 device was developed a few years ago (1995).  I would need to look for this information and see if it is available..

Nevertheless, we offer the new OPA928 femtoampere-input-bias precision amplifier that is currently sampling/preview, available on SO-8 package, offering ultra-low input bias current of 20fA (max) at 25C and 85C.

Would this be of interest?  The OPA928 is available on the 8-pin SOIC package.  On the OPA928, the datasheet provides the input common-mode 6.4pF and differential input capacitance 1.6pF:

Let me know if the OPA928 would be of interest.

    Thank you and Kind Regards,

    Luis
