Dear Sir,

Our Base part is TLV3011AMDBVREP (Open-collector) & new recommended Part is TLV3012-EP series (Push-Pull), so is this part is OK to use in our existing circuit.

Is this difference will affect any functional difference? any need of hardware modification required?

Kindly suggest the ordering part number for this series so that I will do the analysis.

An open-collector output would allow connecting multple outputs together, or using a pull-up resistor to a voltage different from V+.

If you are using a single TLV3011-EP, and if the pull-up is connected to V+, then you can replace it with the TLV3012-EP (and remove the pull-up).

Hi Clemens,

Thanks for your quick support can you suggest the exact ordering part for our Base Part TLV3011AMDBVREP (Open-collector) with Push-pull configuration OR we any other Open-collector Part which is suitable for -55 deg C operating temperature.

Also send the supportive reference document for configuration of Push-pull & Open-collector. Thanks in advance

There is only a single orderable part number, TLV3012AMDBVREP.

Thanks for reaching out. As Clemens mentioned, TLV3012AMDBVREP is the push pull output so it does not need the pull up resistor on the output. They are both on the same datasheet: TLV3011-EP and TLV3012-EP Enhanced Product Low Power Comparators With Integrated 1.24V Voltage Reference datasheet (Rev. A) (ti.com). I'd look at section 7 to see the key features and differences between the two outputs.

The TLV3012-EP is just temporarily out of stock. I do not know what exactly the TLV3011-EP's "not available" means, but it appears to be more permanent.

TLV3011-EP should be available within a couple of days. TLV3012-EP looks to be available now.
