Hello,

Is the POWER PAD connected to V-(4pin) inside the device?

Should the POWER PAD be connected to the V-(4pin) on the PCB?

Section 10.1.2 says:

The tab of both packages is electrically connected to the negative supply, V–.

You can connect the pad to V– or let it float. What to do is likely to depend on how you want to heat sink it.
