BUF802: PART TO PART SKEW

Part Number: BUF802

Hi,

I am using two BUF802s in parallel as my output driver. The input is a square wave of 500MHz

What is the part to part skew/propagation delay of the two BUF802s?

  • Hello Debasmita,

TI does not currently have any publicly available data on part-to-part skew for propagation delay.  With analog parts such as amplifiers, your delay is contingent upon your observed settling rate at the signal level and bandwidth/speed you desire.  There are specified settling times for various % settled thresholds on the datasheet, but there is no histogram data of part-to-part skew or measured/simulated value present on the datasheet.

If you have specific application and project concerns which require tight timings for digital control signals, please provide more details into how the BUF802 is used in the customer signal chain.

    Best,

    Alec
