Hello
I have several Designs using OPA4197 and OPA2197.
Due to their non availability , we are are forced to use TLV9354 and TLV9352.
One question of how to select C1 m Capacitor in the feedback path , can someone guide us.
This is a generic Ckt for a Gain of 3 .
for say OPA x197 and TLV935x ?
Varunesh,
The selection of the C1 feedback capacitor and feedback resistor (R3) is a function of load cap (CL=?) and Riso resistor (R4) - see below.
As a starting point, you must first determine the value of R4 (without R3 and C1 shorted) based on the CL to assure a minimum 45 degrees phase margin of the configuration. Then you should pick C1=~CL/10 and R3=100*R4 and by trial and error simulation fine tune them to get best possible settling time.
