TL331: Incorrect PSpice model?

Regarding the PSPICE model for the TL331.

The following download link is supposed to be for the TL331

https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/slvm937

However once unzipped and looking at the tl331.lib file the device called up is the LM2903B.
Has the wrong model been misnamed "TL331.LIB" and zipped up or is this actually the correct model, but with the wrong device name internally?

They behave in the same way. There are lots of devices in this comparator family; see tables 1-1 and 1-2 in the Application Design Guidelines for LM339, LM393, TL331 Family Comparators.

Yes, as Clemens mentioned, both parts behave the same way and the same model is used for this entire family.

Thanks Chi.
If I could make a suggestion for when a model file is used for a different device.

It would be advantageous to either:
1. Change the model name within the file too, along with additional comments describing that the model is derived from a 'base version' and which one.

2. Add in comments within the file to indicate that this model definitely applies to the device in the filename if the filename is different.

Thanks John for the suggestion. ill be changing the model name within the files to avoid any confusion. Hopefully these changes will be reflected on the web sometime within the next week.
