INA381: Gain selection for INA381

Part Number: INA381

Hi TI Teams,

From the datasheet of INA381, we know that its available gain is INA381A1(20V/V), INA381A2(50V/V), INA381A3(100V/V) and INA381A4(200V/V). Now the maximum current used in our project is a little more than 2A, how should we select the gain and the Rsense resistor value? Is it possible to choose based on the VOUT output voltage?  For example, the voltage of MCU GPIO is 1.8V, then VOUT pin output voltage can not exceed 1.8V will be ok, the Rsense resistor is using 10mΩ and choose the INA381A1(gain=20) as amplifier, when the system current is 2A, the output voltage VOUT = 2A * 10 * 20 = 0.4V, is that right?

By the way, does the CMPREF is just a reference voltage for the comparator? Can it be set according to the current limit? For example, if the current is greater than 3A, then the output signal will be given to MCU, VOUT=3A * 10mΩ * 20=0.6V, R1 pull-up power supply is connected to 3.3V,  then we just need to adjust the value of R1 and R2 to realize the voltage of CMPREF=3.3*(R2/R1+R2)=0.6V, is that right?

Thanks,

Kind Regards
