Is it possible to use a high side current sense amplifier for voltages above 400v (ie: 650v)?

Hi,

The 400V in the TIDU833 design is an example. With different components higher common mode voltages can be achieved.

The PNP transistor is used to stand off the high voltage and is critical.

Are there any suggestions of components and values to operate at 650v max?

Has this been tested at higher voltages or just theoretical?

Hi,

In theory, the voltage limitation comes from the PNP. Unfortunately verification was not done on our end with components capable of 650V or higher.
