Hi,
In the datasheet you describe on Figure 8-11 (doc SBOS998c-june21) a Composite Loop using BF mode configuration. May you descibe more the pro/con of this solution regarding the composite loop mode configuration ?

HI Alexandre,
Are you interested in any particular parameter for the performance comparision in the two configurations?

Hi Anant,
Not yet as i'm first trying to understand why you present this configuration as you have quit the same bill of material as the composite loop without using most of it's internal design purpose (auxiliary path). FYI The use case is an active probe voltage so low noise/high bandwidth are the primary purpose
Hi Alexandre,
Thanks for letting us know the use case.
Give us couple of days, I will share the advantages and disadvatages of using the BUF802 in the two configurations

Anant
Hi Alexandra,
The main advantage of using the BUF802 in CL mode using the the auxiliary input over the other configuration is that it provides much better flatness over the frequency range specially at the crossover range of HF and LF path.

Anant
Alexandra,
Yes that is true, to eliminate the limitaion of the "composite loop using BF Mode" which can be realised using any single input buffer, we recommend to use the BUF802 in composite loop where the high freq signal and low freq signal have different input paths (IN and In_Aux) for better performance.

Anant
