Why is the input noise current density In not available as column in the amplifier master table?
Hey Robert,
Could you please specify what device is missing current noise spectral density?
Best,
Jerry
Hi Jerry,
I did not mean the data table of one specific device. I ment the online component selection tool.
For example, if you go to Operational amplifiers (op amps) product selection | TI.com, you cannot select In for display. There is only vn available.
It would be nice to have both values available for selection of the best opamp for a given source impedance. Of course a quick workaround would be to use the Ibias column and to estimate In by sqrt(2*q*Ibias), but this would only be valid for the assumption of a missing bias cancelation in the input stage.
Best regards
Robert
Hey Robert,
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I've reached out to the team that manages these filters and will respond to you by the end of day (US Central Time) with an update on this.
Best,
Jerry
Robert, Jerry,
I mentioned this to the precision amplifiers team as well. For the short term you can use a downloadable tool called OPAMPS-SELGUIDE . You can use that tool to do the search.
Best regards,
Art
