Hi Team, 

my customer want to sense 20mA-5A current in micro inverter application and want to have integrated isolated power supply.  

since it need to sense 20mA current, I recommend AMC3302 with 41 Gain which is high.  But customer think the Iq is large on AMC3302 as below 

 I see AMC1302 with similar performance but no integrated iso-power supply has much lower Iq. 

so I want to check with you whether the large Iq of AMC3302 is due to integrated Iso-power supply and if our Iq is leading the market in similar product. Thanks.

    Hi Given,

    Yes, the difference in Iq is due to the integrated power supply. I would not expect much improvement in Iq with a discrete solution. 

    As of now, I am not aware of any similar products from competitors on the market - which would make us the market leader.
