AMC1301-Q1: bad behaviour

Part Number: AMC1301-Q1

Hello TI's experts,

I'e built the schematics below based on TIDUBV1A.

Scope results : signal injected on first stage preamplifier (by removing both R19 & R28). The blue is the signal coming from Arb waveform generator and yello is the third stage output (single ended).

I will perform some additional testing, but maybe someone already got and idea of the issue..

Thanks

  • Hi Anicet,

Looking at your schematic, I think the stage 1 gain is off. Your R22 value should be 1.27 kΩ. R18 + R22 should equal R27 to get an intended gain of 10. Please reference eq (7) and eq (9) from this design guide in section 2.2.1. If you could send scope results from test points 1 & 6 and from test points 3 & 4, we could verify your results. Also, do you remember where you got your design from? If it is from TI, we would want to make sure we correct this.

Based on your scope, it seems your source is capable of driving the signal. So, removing R19 & R28 should be okay.

Please let me know if this helps and if you have any more questions.

    Best regards,

    Eva
