TLC081: 60mV offset adjustment

Hi Team,

I want a circuit to adjust offset a DC output range from -1V to 11V and add offset around 60mV to output.

Do you have any circuit level proposal to achieve that?

I notice that some IC can do offset nulling function? But it seems have a limited adjustment range. And this part only supports single supply.

Hi Clemens,

The issue for customer is that they want not offset the voltage and change the slop in the same time. Do you have any other proposal or one chip solution?

Can you write that as a math equation?

Vout = Vin + Offset ; where VIN range [-1,11] , Offset range [-60mV,+60mV]

The example values in this circuit result in a gain of 1. Is this not what you want?

There are integrated difference amplifiers like the INA154/INA132/INA152 or instrumentation amplifiers like the INA823/INA826/INA188 with more accurate resistors.

Yes Gain of 1. Like Ron's post, Vout = Vin + Offset ; where VIN range [-1,11] , Offset range [-60mV,+60mV]. This exactly what I want.

These INA devices have the four resistors built in; you just need to connect R2 to the output, and V_REF to 60 mV. (For devices with R_G, you get G = 1 with R_G = ∞, i.e., no resistor.)
