TL074: TL074 output ripple to MCU ADC

Part Number: TL074

Dear team,

Can you please help provide some suggestions on whether the output pin1 of TL074 had such ripple when disconnected V3.3?

Even on IU_AD it has the ripple as well refer to below capture..

The negative terminal of pin 2 is the 2.5V output from the Hall device, and the positive terminal of pin 3 is the 2.5V reference voltage divider input.

  • Hey Zoe,

What is the voltage on the IU test point when 3.3V is removed?

If the output ripples as a result to a transient on the input, you can either increase the value of the capacitor connected to IU or increase the feedback capacitor to limit the bandwidth of the amplifier. The second option has a limit to the effectiveness. No matter how much you increase the feedback capacitor, your minimum gain of your input signal will be 1.

    Best,
    Jerry
